Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for the 15% booking advance you pay through the Paint & Painter platform. The balance amount is paid by you directly to the Painter and is outside the scope of online refunds.
Booking a visit is free
Requesting a quote and booking a home visit is completely free. No payment is taken until you have received a quotation and chosen to confirm the booking by paying the 15% advance.
Cancelling before work begins
If you cancel a confirmed booking before the Painter has started work, you are eligible for a full refund of the 15% advance, subject to any non-refundable payment-gateway charges. Please request the cancellation by emailing us at support@paintandpainter.com.
Cancelling after work has begun
Once work has started, the advance covers materials procured and work already performed and is generally non-refundable. If you are unhappy with the work, please contact us so we can inspect the issue and arrange a fair resolution — such as rectification of the work.
Service issues and quality
We stand behind the quality of work delivered by our vetted Painters. If the completed work does not match the approved quotation, raise it with us within a reasonable time and we will work with you and the Painter to make it right.
How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method used for the advance.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days of approval; the time for the amount to reflect depends on your bank or payment provider.

Balance payments to Painters
The remaining balance after the advance is paid by you directly to the Painter on completion. These direct payments are between you and the Painter and are not processed or refunded through the Paint & Painter platform.
